Who I am
I am currently a PhD candidate in Medical Geography at the University of Utah and the Director of the Office of Primary Care and Rural Health at the Utah Department of Health. I have over ten years of experience in GIS and spatial analysis. I am interested in population health, community health needs assessments, health disparities and social determinants of health. I am an out-of-the-box thinker and problem solver who loves to collaborate, build strong relationships and turn great ideas into reality. . My greatest interest is in finding solutions to medical and public health issues through geographic analysis of environmental and public health data.
